The Devil Draws

I have to say that Satan in Paradise Lost is my favorite character. He’s the classic hero, wily, cunning, devious, a voyager, a warrior, courageous, a leader, bold even in defeat, strong despite tragedy, courageous to the point of folly. He’s Odysseus, he’s Achilles, he’s Prometheus.
